04/25/02: My first journal entry. What to say? I created this website to help people with their problems. Not that I'm saying I have a degree in psychology, or that I'm an expert in the subject. But I have noticed it's nice to have somebody to talk to sometimes. A person that will listen to you is sometimes the only way to get a burden off your heart. Why don't you email me? I will be glad to chat with you!
04/26/02: Today at lunch I went to the local Denny's by the office with a few of my co-workers. I was happily eating my scrambled eggs when I noticed this cute blonde looking at me. I sat up a little more erect in my seat. I looked at her. She looked at me again. She smiled. I started to fidget with my trembling fork.She did the hair toss and smile again. Suddenly, my day seemed to be going just fine!
Now, I'm not the suave kind of guy busting out with exciting conversation with the ladies on a daily basis. What guy does right? So back to the story, the waitress brings our receipt and it's time to make my departure. I get the great idea of ripping off the top part of the receipt. I grab a pen and on the receipt I write: CALL ME! (MY NUMBER INSERTED HERE). . AARON.
I get up out of my chair, walk over to the blonde, hand her the receipt with my info. She looks at me and says "What's this?" At this time I'm blushing and not knowing what to say. I whisper "It's a piece of paper." Then she has the guts to roll her eyes at me. What's up with that?? When I get home I check my messages on my phone. My answering machine shows a huge "0". That "0", as in zero, translates into "LOSER."
Sigh. I think next time I won't do the Kindergarten approach. I'm just glad I didn't put "CHECK YES OR NO" on my little hand written, sad looking receipt with the coffee stain on it.
04/27/02: Hello guys/girls! Our forum is finally up and running. It took me a while to figure it out but IT IS WORKING!! Feel free to post new topics so we can get this puppy going. I started a new topic called "POEMS". Feel free to add your poem or one of your favorites. Have a great day!!
